First of all I wanted to share that I am now a regular presenter on BBC 1 Sunday politics. This is such a great programme to be a part of. With so much going on in London, not least the upcoming Mayoral elections, I’m looking forward to keeping our viewers up to date and informed! Hosting this event was definitely a highlight of my year so far! As a news presenter and journalist I often talk and hear a lot about the new 5G network – but rarely discuss what it can actually do. This was a great opportunity to hear what Verizon has to offer and how different businesses are working with 5G to offer more to their clients and develop new and better technology. Using the AI bar to determine just the right cocktail of choice to suit my mood was also lots of fun!

It was such an informative and fascinating evening chairing and moderating this debate for the London Press Club on whether publishers have lost Gen Z. It was a great panel with a wide range of experience and insight from the managing editor of The Sun to the head of social media for Reach PLC – we discussed and debated what publishers need to do to reach Gen Z – and how journalism as we know it won’t survive unless they do!
